Report damage

Information to be asked when making a damage notification to 0850 250 81 81

  1. You will be asked to provide your policy number
  2. License holder / license plate / brand / model of damaged vehicle
  3. Damage date and time
  4. Damage location information
  1. Fault rate
  2. Estimated amount of damage
  3. The full address and telephone number of the place where expertise will be made
  4. Account number, bank and branch name of the license holder of the damaged vehicle.

Find out more about Damage Notification

  1. After the damage notification is made, the damage file is opened.
  2. In order to benefit from the contracted service advantage, take your vehicle to the nearest contracted service. Please click for our nearest contracted service.
  3. The surveyor is appointed.
  4. Depending on the damage, deliver all the necessary documents to the contracted service or hand them to the surveyor.
  5. The surveyor sends the paperwork to the company.
  6. A record is entered to Tramer for defect detection by the related department in our company.
  7. According to the results of Tramer, the process is completed by continuing the operations pursuant to the general conditions of traffic insurance.

Necessary documents

  1. Approved traffic collusion report
  2. Uncontested traffic collusion report
  3. Copy of the license of the damaged vehicle
  4. Photocopy of driving license of the insured vehicle driver
  5. Insured car driver's alcohol report
  6. Victim's bank account information
  7. TR- identification number / tax number of the victim
  8. Copy of the license of the insured vehicle
  9. Note: Foregoing documents are standard and extra documents can be requested depending on the nature of the damage.

In case of death and permanent disability

  1. Notices regarding bodily damages are made via notary or registered letter as stipulated under C.5. NOTICES AND NOTIFICATIONS” articles of the Traffic Insurance General Terms and Conditions.
  2. Letters delivered to the company in person against signature or notifications sent via telegram are also counted as registered letters.
  3. Please submit all necessary documents related to the damage to our company.
  4. Compensation is calculated by the actuary.
  5. The amount to be paid within the coverage is determined according to the determination and defect rate.
  6. Payments are made to the account number of the disabled person, his/her attorney or heirs.

In case of death

  1. Approved traffic collusion report
  2. Approved sample of registered family
  3. Approved succession notice
  4. Approved dead examination and autopsy report
  5. Profession and income certificate of the deceased

In case of permanent disability

  1. Approved Traffic collusion report
  2. The committee report issued according to the Disability Criteria, Classification and Regulation on the Health Board Reports to be Given to the Handicapped People
  3. Hospital / treatment reports
  4. Profession and income certificate

Report your demand for depreciation

  1. Depreciation damage notifications can be made to hasarevrak@sompojapan.com.tr e-mail address provided that there are no missing documents .                                             
  2.  Notices regarding bodily damages are made via notary or registered letter as stipulated under C.5. NOTICES AND NOTIFICATIONS” articles of the Traffic Insurance General Terms and Conditions.
  3. Letters delivered to the company in person against signature or notifications sent via telegram are also counted as registered letters.
  4. Please submit all necessary documents related to the damage to our company.
  5. Pursuant to the Circular of the Undersecretariat of Treasury with the number 2015/34 on Survey Fee Tariff, the survey fee related to the depreciation is paid by the party/parties requesting the value loss.
  6. In value loss application, a surveyor is also appointed by our company.
